Shipping Compliance
Prohibited & restricted items
For the safety of our people, our partners and your cargo, the following goods can never be carried — and a second group needs approval before we can accept them.
Declaring prohibited goods, or hiding them inside an otherwise legal shipment, is a serious offence. Such shipments are stopped, reported to the relevant authorities and are not eligible for compensation or refund under our Terms of Service.
Never accepted
These items cannot be shipped with Collicare on any service, to any destination.
Weapons, ammunition & explosives
- Firearms, firearm parts, replicas and airsoft weapons
- Ammunition, gunpowder, primers and reloading components
- Explosives, fireworks, flares, detonators and blasting caps
- Knives and blades intended as weapons, tasers, pepper spray
Hazardous & dangerous materials
- Flammable liquids and gases (fuel, solvents, propane, aerosols under pressure)
- Corrosives, oxidisers, poisons and toxic industrial chemicals
- Radioactive material and asbestos in any form
- Loose or damaged lithium batteries, and any battery showing swelling or leakage
Illegal & counterfeit goods
- Narcotics, controlled substances and drug paraphernalia
- Counterfeit currency, forged documents, fake IDs and passports
- Counterfeit or pirated branded goods and media
- Stolen property and goods subject to sanctions or embargo
Human & biological material
- Human remains, ashes and body parts
- Infectious substances, pathogens and untreated clinical waste
- Unpackaged biological samples without an approved cold-chain contract
Live animals & protected species
- Live animals, insects and livestock of any kind
- Plants, seeds and soil restricted by phytosanitary rules
- Ivory, furs, and any CITES-protected species or derivative
Cash & irreplaceable valuables
- Banknotes, coins, bearer bonds, prepaid cards and traveller's cheques
- Loose precious stones, bullion and unset gold or silver
- One-of-a-kind artwork, antiques and original manuscripts
Restricted — only with special arrangement
We can carry these, but only once the booking has been reviewed and approved in advance.
Perishables & frozen goods
Accepted only under a temperature-controlled contract with validated packaging, live logging and a guaranteed transit window. Never accepted as standard parcel freight.
Pharmaceuticals & medical devices
Requires licence details, correct HS classification and, for cold-chain products, a cold-chain booking. Prescription medicines need importer authorisation.
Alcohol & tobacco
Excise goods require prior written approval, duty pre-payment and a licensed consignee at destination. Quantities above personal-use limits are refused.
Lithium batteries in equipment
Devices with installed batteries are accepted when correctly declared, at under 30% state of charge and packed to UN 3481 / UN 3091 requirements.
